A little about me

Hi I'm Joseph Bartram. I am currently an Apprentice Software Engineer at UCAS, with my level 4 apprenticeship coming to an end in May.

My passion is and has always been coding and being able to create new things with my own ability from nothing. My passion for coding started at a young age where I was introduced to Scratch which was a simple block coding site that. Then I started learning python in school and my passion for coding continued from there. I am a very motivated learner and always wish to learn new things, and an example of that is my continued learning through the apprenticeship I am currently doing.

I chose to do an apprenticeship instead of University as I felt I would be able to pursue my carrier in software development better as the apprenticeship gave me industry experience in the workplace and also helped me develop my skills as a developer, compared to university where I would only have learned theory and not be able to impliment it to real life.

In my spare time, I enjoy learning new technical skills, currently I am learning both Flutter ,an app development language, and also Unreal engine 5.
